American Mangaka will be up at the Amakusa Cultural Exchange Center from June 1-8, with an opening on June 1st from 12-5pm.

The ten artists exhibiting are: Ryan Andrews, Kevin Czapiewski, Adrien Dacquel, Sean Dove, Matt Forsythe, Joseph Lambert, Jen Lee, Sloane Leong, Kris Mukai, and Jon Wolfe.

Hey there sport fans boy howdy do I got a BIG THUNDERPAW UPDATE FOR YOU. Look it’s like 3 pages in 1.

I recommend rewinding to the start of CH2 for the full intro effect.

Important: The splash page I did for this update is my most favorite thing I’ve drawn to date. Special thanks to my boyfriend for helping me with what trees would belong and to my dogs for letting me creep on them for reference.

There’s a Japanese exhibition called Amerikan Mangaka that a few Thunderpaw pieces will be in and then I had to take a pic of my workspace and a selfie for it. I thought seeing all of this together was pretty cool and it makes me wonder what people thought my space n’ face looked like before.

My house is an a-frame btw I don’t have some wacky mirror effect going on.

Amerikan Mangaka is being held at the Amakusa Cultural Exchange Center at, uh, Amakusa, Japan! The show explores the backgrounds, work, and processes of young US comic artists. I unfortunately do not have a list of the other artists right now.

If this is geographically possible (or a mr/ms bruce wayne moneybags) you oughta check it out.
